As a Senior Program Manager at Yahoo, I led the production of PayPal's Global SMB campaign during the challenging height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This innovative program highlighted the resilience and adaptability of small business owners globally, underscoring PayPal's commitment to empowering entrepreneurs in unprecedented times.
The campaign featured a diverse array of content, including two interactive articles (one for TechCrunch and another for an additional platform) and four standard articles distributed across international markets, including Yahoo Finance UK and Canadian outlets. I collaborated closely with internal international sales and editorial teams to ensure that the campaign resonated with regional audiences while maintaining a cohesive global narrative.
Despite facing challenges, including unresponsive talent, I managed every aspect of production to prevent any delays in launch. Through strategic problem-solving and proactive communication with cross-functional teams, I ensured the program’s seamless execution. The campaign’s success is a testament to collaboration, creative storytelling, and adaptability under challenging circumstances.
