MY HAIR MY STORY

As the Senior Program Manager at Verizon Media, I led the award-winning "My Hair My Story" campaign for P&G, promoting the Gold Series from Pantene and Royal Oils by Head & Shoulders. This multifaceted initiative celebrated Black hair heritage and identity through impactful storytelling and strategic activations.

The campaign featured three highly visual, interactive articles enriched with custom, unique illustrations that captured the essence of personal hair journeys, the cultural significance of Black hairstyles, and expert advice on natural hair care. A curated destination hub and a high-profile HuffPost sponsorship during Black History Month amplified the campaign’s visibility. I also collaborated closely with our events team and P&G’s brand team to ensure seamless on-site integration of products and branding at a live community event, enhancing the audience experience.

From concept development to event execution, I managed every aspect of this program, delivering exceptional quality and results. The campaign’s success was recognized with a 2020 Digiday Award finalist nomination and the prestigious Brandblazer Award at Verizon Media for its innovative and meaningful impact
